Black Obsidian Flat Stone with Gold Pentacle. A pentacle is a five-sided symbol in the form of a star, enclosed by a circle. From the metaphysical perspective, the five points of the star or pentagram represent the five requirements needed to sustain life – those elements being fire, earth, water, air and the spirit. The circle symbolizes the idea of infinity, the life cycle and the connection between the five elements. Metaphysically, pentagrams and pentacles represent white magic and all that is good. They can be used for cleansing, “charging” or bringing forward positive energies and directing those energies.
