It is time for spring planting! Join us in a powerful experience of declaring our intentions in community. In the guided meditation, you will visualize the 'garden of your intentions'. Here you will plant the seeds representing your intentions.
This event is located at For Heaven’s Sake Metaphysical store in Applewood. We will meet Friday 4/24 from 4:00 to 5:30. The cost is $25. For payment, you can pay cash at the door (no checks please) or use Venmo @Gregory-Merritt-6, or with Zelle 408.202.4048. Regardless of the payment option, please let me know if you plan to attend. I have two scholarships available; your cost is $10. If your budget is tight, let me know.
To empower our journey, we perform the ritual of the 6 directions to connect deeply with Spirit and one another; and we will drum. We will experience our Oneness as a community.
Drumming allows us to let go of our rational mind and surrender to our instinctual nature. Shamanic style drumming puts us in a trance state to open our intuitive channels. The drumming sets you up for a guided meditation to activate your vision by planting the seed in the garden of your intentions. You will also envision who you will become in manifesting your intention.
We are going to infuse this circle with Celtic energy! The 4 cardinal directions are based on energies as seen by the Druids. Also, we will bring in the energy of Beltane, which is celebrated May 1st, sometimes referred to as May Day. I will share some information about this Celtic celebration. Please help to bring in this energy by bringing spring flowers for the altar – white and pink hues, yellow and red.
I have 4 drums I can loan out. Please bring any extra drums you are willing to share.
Bio:
Gregory Merritt is pursuing his soul’s passion to express his light as a healer-teacher. He integrates his learning from many traditions – nature-based teachings such as Native American and pagan, Consciousness studies, Life Coaching, Landmark Education, drumming circles and 12 years as a Religious Science practitioner. As a Life Coach, he enjoys helping people get into action regarding their true heart’s desire. Gregory is a champion of the soul’s journey. He will help you develop a deeper connection with the Divine within and live life from that place.

About Sally Minh
Sally Minh's spiritual journey began in Bodghaya, India, at the ancient stupa (temple) enshrining the Bodhi Tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment. There, she studied and helped facilitate Tibetan Buddhist meditations, teachings and retreats at the Root Institute for Wisdom Culture.
Sally Minh later studied with traditional Buddhist sound healing masters in Kathmandu & Bali. Her professional studies include the classical tradition of Tibetan-Himalayan Singing Bowls, Sound Healing & Meditation, and West African drumming, singing & dance, with events in the U.S. and internationally.
Sally Minh’s sound healing and musicianship spans over 15 years, including concert piano and professional sound healing and West African drumming, singing and dance.
Helpful Info for Attendees
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to sit/lie on. Feel free to bring an extra blanket, pillow and eye mask for further comfort, and water for hydration.
There is ample free parking in the parking lot.
Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early since doors close promptly for preparation of sacred space.
